Abstract: |
The study was prepared in the period 2006-2009, in the framework of the first cycle of postgraduate studies of the signatory in the Department of History-Archeology of the School of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens under the supervision of a three-member scientific committee (Hagen Fleisseris) . The subject of the study was the recording of the activity of the armed Eamic organizations (ELAS, OPLA) in Athens and Piraeus during the Occupation, 1942-1944, the description of the conditions of development of the resistance phenomenon, the geographical and social / class framework of the development of the Eamic organizations, the depiction of the social / class geography of the events of the period 1943-1944 in the area of the capital and the search for the conditions for the registration of the action of OPLA in the collective memory. The edited version of the study was published in a book in 2012 by Foundation Publications. |
